Locked In ("we", "our") is a Calgary-based epoxy and concrete coatings business owned by Nick Kernaz. This page explains what we collect when you use lockedincoatings.ca and how we use it.

What we collect

When you submit the estimate form, the AI Visualizer, or talk to Maya (our virtual receptionist), we collect: your name, phone number, optional email, optional address / postal code, optional photos of your concrete, and the messages you send. We do not collect payment information through this site.

How we use it

We use this information to contact you about a free on-site estimate, prepare a quote, and follow up on work in progress. We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

AI processing

If you use the AI Visualizer, your photo is sent to a third-party AI image-generation service (Google Gemini) to render the preview. The chat assistant (Maya) sends your messages to Anthropic Claude and OpenAI for transcription and voice replies. These providers process the data on our behalf and do not retain it for training.

Storage

Lead information and chat sessions are stored in a private database accessible only to the business owner via password-protected admin login. Photos may be retained for up to 12 months for project reference and then deleted.
